HD-CVI DVRs
HD-CVI DVRs: meant to be used with HD-CVI cameras only, unless our title states "hybrid" or "tribrid," in which case other formats can be accepted, Analog/CVBS is compatible with the older non-HD cameras with BNC output.
The Dahua S2 Tribrid HD-CVI DVRs includes IP channels, so for example the HCVR5208A-S2 DVR is an 8 channel Tribrid HD-CVI DVR for BNC inputs for up to 8 channels in HD-CVI and analog non-HD, and two 2 IP channels for a total maximum of 8 channels.
The Dahua S3 Tribrid HD-CVI DVRs adds additional IP channels, so for example the DHI-HCVR72A08A-S3 DVR is an 8 channel Tribrid HD-CVI DVR for BNC inputs for up to 8 channels in HD-CVI and analog non-HD, plus two ADDITIONAL IP channels for a total of 10 channels.
