A Type II Data Node Interface license provides connectivity between the IP device and the ESE Base. The Data Node license connection is based on Data Sourcing access control Points – As an example, a Type II Data Sourcing Point can be an access control reader. Some access control points go thru a panel where one IP address is used for the panel yet is supports multiple doors. In these cases to determine the number of licenses needed, the licenses are issued on a per door name basis.
