Command Interface Module

The Command Interface Module (CIM) license is a feature that is included with selected access control modules, but can be purchased separately using the part number listed below. The CIM module provides door control functions (Admit, Lock, etc.) from the client. Control applications can include actions such as: opening / locking doors, opening gated entry to garage entrances or any mechanical activation supported through the IP device. This s/w component interfaces with the C2P Procedure Manager allowing user defined procedures to be brought up on screen in response to an action as well as triggering a generic event within VMS.
