Type II Data Node License

A Type II Data Node Interface license provides connectivity between the IP device and the ESE Base. The Data Node license connection is based on Data Sourcing access control Points – As an example, a Type II Data Sourcing Point can be an access control reader. Some access control points go thru a panel where one IP address is used for the panel yet is supports multiple doors. In these cases to determine the number of licenses needed, the licenses are issued on a per door name basis. The following IP devices are supported by ConvergenceTP software licensing. State the access control manufacturers name when ordering. 

Building Management Device interface: Building Management IP Devices: Some IP Devices have broad features and can become building management device interfaces beyond access control like Digital Monitoring Products (DMP). In the case of DMP the licenses will be issued based on the number of cameras assigned to the event names. The DMP Type II license is provided with an initial five camera names which can be assigned as needed in the playback camera column in the CTP GUI setup window. After the five camera names have been used, additional camera names can be added to the list using the standard Type II license cost. 

CNV-DNI-II-DMP-X Additional camera name licenses can be added, after the initial five camera licenses. Use this P/N replacing X with the number of additional camera licenses.
